Care and Repair is a small dedicated team supporting clients through the process of home adaptations throughout King’s Lynn and West Norfolk and Fenland.
With an array of skills and expertise, the team is always on hand to help you with all your enquiries.
The Administration team is usually the first point of contact when you get in touch with Care and Repair.
They will take the initial enquiry from you and can also signpost to other organisations if necessary.
They will then pass your enquiry over to the Assessment Team.
The Integrated Assessment team is made up of Client Officers, Occupational Therapists (OT’s) and Assistant Practitioners (AP’s). The OT and AP are from Social Services at Norfolk County Council but are situated within this team to enable us to offer a more efficient and informed service.
The Client Officer will be assigned to a client as their point of contact throughout the whole process.
The Occupational Therapist will be appointed to more complex cases.
The Technical team is made up of the Senior Technical Officer and Technical Officers. They work on more complex cases and can be called upon by the Assessment team when more technical expertise is needed. They do visit all jobs and produce plans and a specification (apart from any Breckland Reable jobs).
Technical Officers also visit all clients once the adaptation or repair has been completed. They check that the quality of the work is satisfactory and ‘sign off’ the job.
